The SRL-W mixer combines hot mixing and cooling mixing in one compact system, ensuring fast heat generation, efficient cooling, and uniform blending for PVC powders and additives. Equipped with optimized rotor design and advanced control system, the machine ensures high-speed mixing, uniform material distribution, and stable PVC dry blend quality.
This mixer machine is the first step of SPC flooring production process, used to mix raw materials including PVC-SG5, CaCo3, and other materials such as stabilizer and PE wax according to specific ratios. Our mix machine offers advantages of convenient feeding, dust-free operation, high production efficiency, and low failure rate.
Used for high-intensity mixing, friction heating, preliminary gelation, and plasticization of materials. PVC resin, plasticizers, and other raw materials are loaded into the tank. The motor drives the agitator blades to rotate at high speed (typically 500-1200 rpm or higher), inducing intense convection, shear, and diffusion within the material. This generates rapid heating through vigorous friction. Under high temperature and intense shear forces, liquid additives are thoroughly absorbed and dispersed, components are uniformly blended, PVC particles partially melt and gel, forming a pre-plasticized compound. Once the temperature reaches the preset value (typically 110°C-120°C), the material is automatically discharged into a cold mixer.
Used to rapidly cool and homogenize high-temperature materials from the hot mixer. High-temperature materials (>100°C) entering the cold mixer are agitated by a low-speed rotating paddle (typically 100-200 rpm), preventing clumping and increasing the heat dissipation surface area. Simultaneously, circulating cooling water within the jacket cools the material through the tank walls, rapidly reducing its temperature to 40-45°C. This process prevents clumping and degradation caused by residual heat, transforming the material into a loose, dry powder with excellent flow properties for storage and subsequent extrusion or calendering processes.
