Plastic Crusher Pulverizing Machine for PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride), SPC (Stone Plastic Composite), and WPC (Wood Plastic Composite) typically involve a two-stage process: crushing and pulverizing (milling). Because these materials are dense and often contain minerals (like calcium carbonate) or wood fibers, the equipment must be high-torque and wear-resistant.
Targeted Material Applications
PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride): Perfect for pipes, window profiles, and soft PVC scrap. Our blades are treated to resist the corrosive nature of PVC additives.
WPC (Wood Plastic Composite): Specialized milling discs handle the fibrous nature of wood-plastic blends without clogging.
SPC (Stone Plastic Composite): Designed with wear-resistant alloys to combat the high calcium carbonate content that typically dulls standard blades.
A1. The Crushing Stage (Primary Reduction)
Before the material can be turned into fine powder, it must be reduced to small chips or flakes.
Equipment: Heavy-duty plastic crusher or shredder.
Mechanism: Rotating blades strike stationary blades to shear the material.
Application: PVC Pipes/Profiles: Large diameter pipes are often fed into shredders first.
SPC Flooring: This material is very brittle and heavy; crushers use "claw" or "flat" type blades to break down thick scraps efficiently.
WPC Boards: Requires high-torque shredding due to the fiber content which can be tough on standard blades.
A2. The Milling/Pulverizing Stage (Fine Grinding)
This is where the crushed chips are transformed into 20–80 mesh powder, which can then be reintroduced into the extrusion production line.
Key Components of a PVC/SPC/WPC Pulverizer:
Grinding Disk: High-speed rotating disks with precision-engineered teeth. For SPC, these disks are often specially hardened or coated to resist the abrasive nature of the stone powder.
Cooling System: Grinding generates significant heat. Most millers use a dual cooling system (water cooling for the grinding chamber and air cooling for the material) to prevent the PVC from melting or yellowing.
Vibrating Sieve: Automatically sorts the powder. Fine powder goes to the silo, while coarse particles are sent back to the chamber for re-grinding.
Dust Collector: A pulse dust-collection system ensures a clean workshop environment by capturing fine airborne particles.
