PVC pipe and profile pulverizers are primarily used to recycle defective products and offcuts from PVC pipe and profile manufacturing. By grinding these materials into powder, they can be mixed with virgin material in specific proportions for use in extrusion processes—a key solution for reducing raw material costs.
BEISU pulverizers utilize a high-speed turbine-style disc design. Once material enters the grinding chamber, centrifugal force—generated by the high-speed rotating disc—flings it toward the toothed plates. The material is then pulverized through intense impact, shearing, and friction between the rotating and stationary blades. Fine powder that meets the required specifications is discharged via an airflow system, while coarser particles remain in the chamber for further grinding.
To address the heat-sensitive nature of PVC, modern models are equipped with a dual air-and-water cooling system. A high-volume airflow removes the majority of the heat generated during the grinding process, while a water-cooled jacket surrounding the grinding chamber helps regulate the temperature, preventing the material from degrading or yellowing due to excessive heat.

The blades are the most critical component. At high operating speeds (often exceeding 3,000 rpm), uneven blade wear or a loss of dynamic balance—which can occur after blade replacement—is the primary cause of abnormal vibration and noise. It is essential to perform dynamic balancing calibration whenever blades are replaced.
It is recommended that the inlet water temperature does not exceed 15°C, and the outlet water temperature be kept below 45°C. During hot seasons, the flow rate must be increased; otherwise, a failure in the cooling system will directly compromise the quality of the powdered material.
For higher processing volumes, consider models with a cutter head diameter of 600mm–800mm and a motor power of 55kW, 75kW, or 90kW to achieve greater production capacity.
If a finer powder particle size (50–80 mesh) is required, consider models with a cutter head diameter of 800mm–1000mm and a motor power of 90kW, 110kW, or 132kW to achieve greater production capacity.
